The Hobbit stove SE is a small cast iron multi-fuel stove that is able to burn wood, coal or eco logs, and it’s specifically designed for installations where the space for a stove might be more limited. This makes this stove the ideal choice for small fireplaces where larger stoves simply won’t fit.
The Hobbit SE stove is eco design approved for 2022! This stove complies with the new eco design regulations, which makes it suitable for any installations after the 1st January 2022. The Hobbit SE has also passed the HETAS Cleaner Choice Scheme and has achieved clearSkies level 4.
The Hobbit SE is a 4.1kW stove and it comes with a 5-year warranty when you register your product with Salamander Stoves. The Hobbit SE is finished in a flat black colour as standard.

Returns Policy
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website at any time before the goods are despatched, or within 7 days of receiving your goods and for a full refund excluding cost of return postage providing you take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possesion. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are wishing to cancel after 7 days then there will be a re-stocking charge of 10% as per our T&Cs. This will be removed from the refund total (along with any shipping fees, original and new) which will be refunded within 14 working days on receipt of the returned items. We reserve the right to refuse the return of any items after 28 days following delivery.

Please use adequate packaging to ensure the goods arrive back to us safely as we may not be able to offer the full refund if the goods arrive back to us damaged. If this happens, we will get in touch with you.

We just wanted to say how impressed and how much of a life saver our little Hobbit has been. This weekend our boiler decided it was not going to play ball, the little Hobbit has stepped up to the challenge providing heat in a very large area, about twenty eight foot by twenty four foot with a high ceiling of about eighteen foot, keeping the room warm enough for us not to use cardigans.
It’s the best stove ever, it’s easy to light, very efficient, burns anthracite and stays in overnight (ours has been in for three weeks now), and keeps a kettle of water at the ready for a cuppa! What more can I say, we love it, just the thing to make our Yorkshire home cosy. And the cat loves it too!
